We are happy to announce that VisionConnector 5.00 has been released.

Some of the new features are:

• VisionConnectorServer has been created to communicate with the service tier.
• Pages have been developed for the RTC client
• Heartbeat has been improved with several functionalities. It now runs with elevated privileges, it is using the ManagementObjectObserver and listens to wmi change events from the monitored services, to reset the "Manuel Attention Needed" flag and closes the Udp port immediately on shutdown
• The format of the XML has changed to UTF8 instead of Unicode. Combability Mode makes it use Unicode
• All .NET components has been rewritten i C#. Optional parameters have been removed, which was necessary to make it run on the service tier
• Installer is now supporting IIS 7.0
• A new application VisionPeople.Messaging.Explorer has been added to the package. This application gives an overview of the Message Queues
• Learning Mode has been added to the VC Schema. With this option the schema can create itself during usage
• If a schema field is opened for write, it will by default also be validated
• The primary key fields are now always added to the change log when running Setup Change Log
• Ability to print reports through NAS when using service tier has been added
• A request can now use a value from a response in its own transaction. (Useful for header/line scenarios) 
• Synchronization of Entry Tables has been optimized

VisionPeople always recommend to upgrade to the newest version of VisionConnector. When running VisionCRMConnector with VisionConnector - you should make sure to mark "Compability Mode".
