VISIONPhone - integration between a phone system and Microsoft Dynamics NAV - shows you who is calling.

With the VisionPhone module designed for Microsoft Dynamics NAV, your phone system is integrated with the existing user interface in Microsoft Dynamics NAV. The module makes it possible to have screen images “pop-up” when there are incoming calls. Outbound calls can be started directly from Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

VisionPhone enables Microsoft Dynamics NAV users to:
  • provide better customer service
  • improve their efficiency
  • register the company’s entire dialogue with customers, vendors and other partners

In and outbound calls
When the phone is ringing, a screen pops up - directly from Microsoft Dynamics NAV - showing the customer’s data. The module can show debtors, creditors, and contact persons. If the call is being made from a private number, or the number is not in the Microsoft Dynamics NAV database, the screen will still pop up, but without showing any contact information. In this case, you just type the name of the person or company in the field, press enter and you will see all the registered persons or companies with this name. 

Call log / registration
On the customer (or contact person) card it is possible to create a log/history so all activities on the customer are registered. The registration can be used on both inbound and outbound calls.

System requirements
VisionPhone supports Navision Financials version 2.01 – 2.60, Navision Attain and Microsoft Dynamics NAV (World Wide and country specific versions). Call log and registration require Microsoft Dynamics NAV-modules ”Marketing basis” and” Marketing Activities” for Navision Financials. For Navision Attain and Microsoft Dynamic NAV it requires the CRM – modules “CRM marketing” and “CRM interactions/document management”.

Further functionality can be developed by the Microsoft Dynamics NAV Partner.

Criteria for the operating system: 
The same criteria as Microsoft Dynamics NAV
Software for the phone solution which re-direct A-numbers by using DDE – calls or via file exchange. As an alternative the phone solutions have to be able to pass on the A- number through TAPI (TAPI 2.1 or newer)
